My final proposal idea is based one the Oracle room which is a room in the Hypogeum (one of the worlds oldest standing temples). There was an ancient Maltese religion that was practiced in this temple that was based on the dualities of life and death/ night and day. The Oracle room in this temple resonates a frequency of 111hz, which has been found to induce a mediative like state. This religion most likely utilised this frequency in a kind of spiritual ritual in this room.
My idea is to re-contextualise this idea and frequency in a different situation and try to create an opposition to the notion that spirituality and religion needs to be confined to one text or set of rules and beliefs, and to create a space where people can interpret the spiritual frequency as they do and stay or go (ideally providing some seat bags to invite the viewer to take a seat and breathe in the present moment in the room).
Aesthetically I want to reveal as least technology as possible as not to distract or introduce any elements of the corporate technological world. To do this I will cover all the speakers and computer/ audio interface with cloth or sheets in order to hide them, as well as taping the wires with white tape.
I also wanted to possibly introduce a motion sensor connected to the raspberry pi, which could modulate a parameter on a delay running on the audio loop I will be playing, so that it reacts to the information from people moving.

Technical Specification/ Equipment needed:
4 x Yamaha HS4 active monitors (or other active monitors)
4 x long XLR cables (at least 6m, or shorter with extensions)
Mac Mini (to run Ableton with audio loop and delay) + keyboard and mouse to set the Mac mini, these can then be unplugged to leave the Mac mini running.
Audio interface (to connect raspberry pi to speakers)
Extension lead for power to speakers, with long power cables (IEC cables) to power speakers.
Motion sensors (to detect motion from the room and send signal to Ableton on Mac mini to modulate the feedback on a delay running on the audio track).
