Our main issues in the process of this unit have been with contacting the students we were collaborating with. The issues that arose include no access to the finishes game, or any videos of the game to use for our hand in or for inspiration when creating the sounds.
Another issue that has slowed down our process slightly is that none of us are particularly interested in VR, especially not me also, which has been a problem for me and my motivation.
Another big issue was also that with the notes being google translated, and the diagrams were very difficult to understand. This meant it has been very hard for us to understand/ conceptualise the audio side of the game that we were working on.
Also we had the issue of the level of the ambition of the game, given that it had 6 levels (+ 6 mini games within levels), all experienced through different perspectives (different types of beings, such as a mechanical bird, a caterpillar, a ball of lint, and 2 others). As well as these different perspectives, the different levels are in different types of worlds/ universes, which made it difficult for us to conceptualise what kind of space these sounds we were making were going to sound/ exist in the worlds that the game includes.
