For my first piece I have decided that I will create a project that attempts to reach the furthest parameters of the intangible field of my taste in music, in order to explore this field and explore what the edges of this field sound like. I started to think about what kind of axes this space has, and the axis I decided to focus on was that of chaos/ disorder/ dissonance on one side of the axis, and harmony/ minimalism/ ambiance/ simplicity being on the other opposing end of the axis. I am interested in exploring the furthest points of my taste on this axis, and trying to make a project that can go from one point to the other cohesively.
I wish to explore the idea of ultimate freedom and release, which I believe can be found on both ends of these axes, as there is a freedom to lack of restraints and limitations in chaos, with ultimate expression of emotion through aggression and disharmony, yet also a lot of freedom in harmony and peaceful coexistence of melody and harmony.
